This isn’t just another conference. The ESPN Edge Innovation Conference took place within The Walt Disney Company’s new headquarters in New York City, 7 Hudson Square. The one-night event brought together the brightest minds across sports media, technology, and entertainment, highlighting the role of technology in reshaping ESPN sports storytelling and the fan experience.
From custom scenic design and high-impact broadcast integration, Kapture transformed the Great Room, a central light-filled hub on the 10th floor of Disney Headquarters, showcasing digital immersive partner experiences from industry leaders including Accenture, Microsoft, Meta, and WSC Sports, allowing guests to engage directly with the technologies shaping the future of sports media. ESPN Edge branding was integrated throughout the space to support both the live guest experience and content capture.
The program combined keynote conversations, panel discussions, live Q&A, and curated experiential moments designed to drive engagement, spark conversation, and create meaningful connection between teams and partners with Kapture producing flawless on-stage programming featuring top industry leaders and decision makers keeping innovation top of mind.
The night served as a strong proof of concept for the continued growth of ESPN Edge and showcasing the brand new 7HS building. As one attendee commented upon exiting “I loved it – precise, intentional, and unmistakably forward-looking.”
